Our Goals

You could say we're in a "long term commitment" with sustainability. Our commitment to a cleaner way of living and doing business has made us stronger and, like any good relationship, we take every day as it comes. Here are some goals we're working toward.

100% Recycled Synthetics by 2026

We’ve made strong progress toward this goal, with 85% of our synthetic fibers now recycled. The final hurdle is elastane, which is essential for comfort, fit, and stretch. We haven’t yet found a recycled version that consistently meets our standards for durability, quality, and scalability across our supply-chain. Although we won’t reach 100% by 2026, we remain committed to this goal and will share updates as we make progress.

100% Organic (Or Recycled) Cotton Forever

Ok, we'll admit it: we've already achieved this goal. But this is one of our goals that's so important it needs to be re-checked every season. Organic cotton (and organic cotton in conversion - more on that here) is grown without pesticides or GMO seeds and by ethical farming standards, making it better for the earth, farmers and ecosystems. It's our forever goal and we're sticking to it.

100% Responsible Wool By 2025

All our current wool is recycled or certified non-mulesed, and we continue to maintain this standard. The Responsible Wool Standard is a certification process that takes into account animal care and land impact.

No More Plastic Packaging By 2026

Yep - including those pesky polybags and all. We've hit this goal early (as of 2024) and moving forward, will ensure all packaging meets (at a minimum) all FSC guidelines.

B-Corp Certified By 2027

Big news from Toad HQ: we crushed our timeline and officially became a Certified B Corp ahead of plan. We have always believed business should be a force for good, and now we have the badge to prove it. Same Toad values, now with a little extra shine.

Net Zero Greenhouse Emissions By 2050

As part of OIA's Climate Action Corp, we're aiming for net-zero GHG emissions by 2050. We're building towards a better supply chain and will work with our vendors and factory partners on common sustainability initiatives.

Take 1,500+ Adults with Developmental Disabilities on Adventure Trips by 2030

For 20+ years, we've taken amazing adventure vacations through Search for Adventure, and we're expanding SFA's reach and accessibility to let even more people with disabilities experience the magic of travel.
